The Pale Beyond – Loyalty Achievements Guide
To increase loyalty, it is recommended that you choose dialog options that suit the personalities of the characters and fulfill their requests, as well as those of their followers. Keep in mind that if a leader’s follower dies, you will receive a -20 loyalty penalty from the leader.
Kurt, Kasha, Dr. Arthur, and Templeton are the easiest characters to gain loyalty from since they already start loyal, and you will have many opportunities to boost loyalty with each of them. However, Templeton has a higher threshold. Sacrificing loyalty from these characters is acceptable if you can gain loyalty from Grimley, Junior, Cordell, or Hammond in return.
Grimley is the most challenging character to attain loyalty from because he has the highest threshold and starts with the least. Therefore, we have provided a non-exhaustive list of interactions that have significant loyalty changes with Grimley, as well as a few smaller ones.
If you have additional suggestions for events related to Grimley or other characters, please leave a comment, and we will add them to the guide and give you credit.
The following are some tips to attain loyalty achievements for specific characters:
