Ghost Guide to Paradise Islands SPOILERS

You’ve already freed Captain Drunk Bill’s spirit, but now you need to recruit him to your squad. To do this, you must go on a treasure hunt and locate hidden treasure chests all over the islands. These chests were likely used by pirates as their primary base before the cursed events that lead to your re-entry into this world.
Look for the Key item, also referred to as an Encrypted Map, hidden in one of the treasure chests. It may take some time before it drops, so keep searching until you find the perfect cache. Once you have the map, take it to the Captain, and he’ll figure out the location of the True Treasure.

Follow the cross on your mini-map and use any shovel to discover the treasure. The Pendant with the portrait is the True Treasure that the Captain has been searching for.
Return the Pendant to him, and he will join your ghostly “crew.”
