Contraband Police – Gameplay basics for new players

Welcome to our post, new players, to Contraband Police. We are excited to provide you with the essential information to help you get started on your journey.

Investments

To ensure that your jail remains secure and your prisoners don’t escape, invest in a jail guard. This will save you a lot of money in the long run. Additionally, upgrading your van or purchasing a fast car will enable you to evade the frequent ambushes you will encounter.

While you can keep drugs in your car, it is unclear whether you can keep prisoners there overnight or swap cars with them. Trading is a lucrative way to earn extra cash on the side. To learn more about trading, check out our other guide. Our guide lists the highest and lowest prices for various items to help you identify good deals.

Bribes (updated)

When you accept your first smuggled item, the smuggler may offer you a bribe. This offer has a time limit, so act quickly if you want to accept it. Before accepting the bribe, be sure to check for snakes, partially open the item, or access the baggage. Once the bribe is offered, take as much as you can and make a run for it. If you conduct some tests and time your actions, please let us know so that we can give you credit.

Combat

A pistol with 20 magazines will suffice until you unlock a rifle. As long as you use cover and aim for the head, you won’t have any issues with any fight. Replenish every time you reach 10 to stay prepared for any combat scenario.

Expenses

At the end of each day, you will lose some money due to staff and building upkeep costs. You can be in the red for one day, but no longer. To avoid this, strive for consistent perfect ratings and accept missions. Doing so will help you level up, earn more, and also receive higher payments for perfect assessments. Avoid spending money on useless things like additional staff who only protect you from raids. Instead, upgrade your current staff and utilize your pistol.

Contraband

When searching for contraband, if you are certain that the smuggler will not bribe you, it is advisable to arrest them to prevent them from fleeing. Additionally, smugglers may hide contraband in fake animals. These animals are stationary and have cracks along their body, making them easy to spot. Don’t be afraid to hit them with a crowbar to discover hidden drugs, like a coke pinata.

We hope that this guide has provided you with the necessary knowledge to get started with Contraband Police. Good luck on your journey.
